Interim Pastor
While Pastor Jerald is on deployment, our church will be shepherded by Darrel Nichols. Darrel has a B.A. in Theology from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Lila have served for twenty five years as church planting missionaries in France, Africa and Panama. Darrel has also served as Professor of Bible and Modern Languages at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College. Lila has a B.S. in Education and is an Elementary School Teacher.
Darrel comes from Pryor, OK, just seventy miles southwest of Joplin. Lila is from a bit further south. As a native Texan, Lila was raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The couple have three grown children and one grandchild.
